Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Barling Magna

The Shorehouse Harvester

Ness Rd, Southend-on-Sea SS3 9HQ, UK – 01702 292892

As Italian, we love to cook and to eat (obviously)...the food is absolutely amazing, well cooked and great taste. The service is very good and the staff is available and kind. If you want to spend your time, your money and relax yourself, come and try the 83 combo or any chicken plate...ah! Don't forget a slice of fudge cake or sunday Ricky Horror. Come, try and enjoy.

The poor staff were still dealing with the aftermath of a power cut the day before. The table service was good, polite and attentive, but most of the breakfasts had incorrect items on them despite the place being almost empty. Staff were working hard, but seemed like management were elsewhere which was probably overloading front of house staff. Food was fine, recently redecorated too.

Meadow Lark

Artillery Ave, Southend On Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Shoeburyness SS3 8EE, UK – 01702 299308

Would like to thank Sara, Katie and Nicola for their great service and providing a beautiful meal for myself and my family. The new menu has many flavours to choose from but we was immediately drawn to selection of grilled steaks available, choosing one however is the problem.. So after ordering the mixed grill it did not disappoint, was absolutely mouthwatering every bite. As was the delicious desserts, my son loved the dipping doughnuts 😀 Cheers again x

Newly refurbished, has an open clean appearance without the overcrowded feeling of many places. Staff are jolly and helpful. Food quality is excellent. Very pleasant visit for adult groups and families.

Trattoria Verde

149a Station Rd, Southend-on-Sea SS1 3LU, UK – 01702 589768

Good food. But make a few silly mistakes when busy.

Lovely food & good service.
